I wrote this song many years ago. I used to live across the street from a high school in Tooele, UT. I was sitting at my piano one day, watching the youth walk to and from the Seminary building. I reflected on how difficult my school years were and wondered what someone could have said to me that would have helped my times of trial. I thought about what I would love to say to the youth to help them believe that their Savior really does know them. Each of them, by name. And this song flowed from my heart. He knows. He truly knows us.
